German Production in October 2024: -1.0% on the previous month
Production in industry in real terms (price adjusted) was down 1.0% in October 2024 month on month after seasonal and calendar adjustment, according to provisional data provided by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). The less volatile three-month on three-month comparison showed that production was 0.4% lower in the period from August 2024 to October 2024 than in the previous three months. After revision of the provisional results, production decreased by 2.0% in September 2024 compared with August 2024 (provisional figure: -2.5%).
