NZ Overseas Merchandise Trade: October 2024
Overseas merchandise trade statistics provide information on imports and exports of merchandise goods between New Zealand and other countries. This release refers to trade in goods only. In October 2024, compared with October 2023: •goods exports rose by $400 million (7.5 percent), to $5.8 billion •goods imports rose by $211 million (3.0 percent), to $7.3 billion •the monthly trade balance was a deficit of $1.5 billion. chart Goods exports rose by $400 million (7.5 percent) in October 2024 (to $5.8 billion), compared with October 2023.
