Italian Retail trade - September 2024
In September 2024, the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade grew by 1.2% both in value and volume terms, when compared to the previous month. In the 3rd quarter of 2024, the value of retail sales increased by 0.7%, likewise sales volume was up 0.4%, when compared to the previous quarter. On a year-on-year basis, the value of retail trade grew by 0.7%, while volume rose by 0.3%. In September 2024, large-scale distribution saw a year-on-year growth of 2.2%, while small-scale distribution contracted by 1.0% and non-store retail sales declined by 1.6%.
