French foreign trade figures for September 2024
In September 2024*, France's trade balance deteriorates significantly (-€0.7 billion) to -€8.1 billion. Over the month, imports increase significantly (+€0.5 billion) to €57.0 billion while exports decrease (-€0.2 billion) to €48.9 billion. In September 2024, the energy balance declines only slightly (-€0.1 billion). On the other hand, the balance of capital goods deteriorates sharply (-€0.6 billion). The balance of intermediate goods recovers slightly (+€0.1 billion), as does that of consumer goods (+€0.1 billion), which returns to balance after a downward trend since January 2024, when it peaked ...
