October sees fastest growth of Spanish manufacturing sector since early 2022

Spain’s manufacturing sector enjoyed a strong start to the final quarter of 2024, with operating conditions improving to their greatest degree in over two-and-a-half years. Production and new orders both rose sharply, which encouraged greater purchasing and recruitment activity amongst firms. Confidence in the outlook also strengthened to its highest level since May as firms expect an improvement in sales and the economic climate over the coming year.
