The previous week's level was revised up by 1,000 from 241,000 to 242,000. The 4-week moving average was 238,500, an increase of 2,000 from the previous week's revised average.     The number of seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims in the United States declined by 15,000 to 227,000 in the week ending October 19, the Department of Labor said in its report published on Thursday. The 4-week moving average decreased by 2,000 from the previous week's revised average to 238,500. The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate stood at 1.3% for the week ending October 12, growing by 0.1 percentage point compared to the previous week's unrevised rate. if it red data, market move fater than the flash, if it was green data for us, market still looking reason to make usd look bad.... ha ha ha
The US economy is showing consecutive fundamental well performance with the labor market. USD/JPY is Uptrend and its weekly MACD and RSI head indicate that it will complete head or leg171-173. I was forecast a few days ago towards 161 with the valid uptrend

To me, a strong labor market means less likely big rate cut. Maybe no rate cut. ??

It balances the labor market. As a result, all sectors grow well. Currency holds strong value. Finally, consecutive GDP is increased.
Inflation is still above 2%. Strong labor market means demand. Demand means inflation. So less likely rate cut.

Ill informed, continuing jobless claims are at 2021 peak, people are not getting back into the labour market whilst initial weekly jobless claims are 240k average over 4 weeks, this is a disaster for the economy as last time that happened we had a 10% drop in NQ.
