German exports in August 2024: +1.3% on July 2024
In August 2024, German exports were up 1.3% and imports were down 3.4% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis compared with July 2024. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that exports increased by 0.1% and imports fell by 3.1% compared with August 2023. After calendar and seasonal adjustment, Germany exported goods to the total value of 131.9 billion euros and imported goods to the value of 109.4 billion euros in August 2024.
