German production in August 2024: +2.9% compared to the previous month
According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector rose by 2.9% in August 2024 compared to July 2024, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects. In the less volatile three-month comparison, production from June 2024 to August 2024 was 1.3% lower than in the previous three months. In July 2024, production fell by 2.9% compared to June 2024 after revision of the preliminary results (preliminary value: -2.4%).
