    Japan's new Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba said Wednesday that he believes the current environment is not suitable for another rate hike, suggesting he does not want the Bank of Japan to rush into further tightening its policy, following his meeting with the BOJ chief. This is a misleading news. Today morning it was clear that BOJ is independent about what to do. This news is not reflecting the reality. What's the purpose of it???? Let retailers buy at these levels???

What I don't understand about the new PM is, when rates were raised, he supported it then but now he has changed his words. He did this after meeting Ueda. BOJ is not clear about its monetary policy and this is very disruptive for the financial & stock markets. One moment, they talk about raising rates and another moment, they change their tunes. They cannot seem to make up their minds. Japanese citizens are paying for the mistakes of BOJ decisions, because inflation which has set in sometime ago(which BOJ is denying) has raised prices of goods and the citizens of Japan are facing the brunt of it.
US$ against Jpy will continue to rise if that's the stand they are taking
How do you go from wanting to increase rates to all of a sudden it’s not a good time. What changed?
The interest of the boj is not Japan, or controlled by Japan. The destruction of the currency and instability is calculated and controlled. You won't get any clear information until they are making a move
