UK House Price Index summary: July 2024
Average UK house price annual inflation was 2.2% (provisional estimate) in the 12 months to July 2024, down from the revised estimate of 2.7% in the 12 months to June 2024. The average UK house price was £290,000 in July 2024 (provisional estimate), which is £6,000 higher than 12 months ago. Average house prices in the 12 months to July 2024 increased in England to £306,000 (1.6%), increased in Wales to £218,000 (2.0%) and increased in Scotland to £199,000 (6.0%).
