NZD/JPY Technical: Another potential falling knife as Fed and BoJ looms next week
Since our last publication, an equal-weighted basket of Japanese yen crosses Index that consists of the G-10 currencies (AUD, NZD, CAD, SEK, NOK, EUR, GBP, CHF, and USD) continued to tumble and recorded a week-to-date loss of -1.24% at this time of the writing. Also, it is just a whisker away of 1.5% from its key 5 August 2024 swing low. The current leg of the Japanese yen crosses’ weakness has taken form since 2 September.
