EIA: US natural gas inventories down by 6 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage across the United States decreased by 6 billion cubic feet in the week ending August 9 compared to the previous seven-day period to reach 3,264 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report published on Thursday. On an annual level, the figure advanced by 209 billion cubic feet. Additionally, the stockpiles grew by 375 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,889 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was within the the five-year historical range.
