Quarterly production output for Quarter 2 (Apr to June) 2024 is estimated to have fallen by 0.1% compared with Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) 2024. This fall in output in Quarter 2 2024 resulted primarily from "manufacturing" (down 0.6%); this was partially offset by rises in "water supply and sewerage" (2.2%) and "electricity and gas" (2.5%). Monthly production output is estimated to have increased by 0.8% in June 2024; this follows a 0.3% increase in May 2024 and a 1.0% fall in April 2024.
