Annual arrivals: Overseas visitor arrivals were 3.21 million in the June 2024 year, increasing by 676,000 from the June 2023 year. The biggest changes were in arrivals from: • China (up 171,000 to 231,000) • United States (up 111,000 to 378,000) • Australia (up 65,000 to 1.30 million) • Korea (up 32,000 to 70,000). New Zealand-resident traveller arrivals were 2.92 million in the June 2024 year, increasing by 711,000 from the June 2023 year.
