  • German production in June 2024: +1.4% compared to the previous month

    According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector rose by 1.4% in June 2024 compared to May 2024, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects. In the less volatile three-month comparison, production in the 2nd quarter of 2024 was 1.3% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2024. In May 2024, production fell by 3.1% compared to April 2024 after revision of the preliminary results (preliminary value: -2.5%).
