In the second quarter of 2024, French private salaried employment is stable
Between the end of March 2024 and the end of June 2024, private sector salaried employment is stable (0.0%, or -7,900 jobs) after increasing by 0.3% in the previous quarter (or +61,100 jobs). It exceeds its level of a year earlier by 0.4% (or +78,000 jobs) and that of before the health crisis (end of 2019) by 6.1% (or +1.2 million jobs). In the second quarter of 2024, temporary employment will fall again after being almost stable in the previous quarter: -2.7% after -0.1% (i.e. -20,500 jobs after -700 jobs).
