EIA: US natural gas storage up by 22 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage across the United States increased by 22 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ending July 19 compared to the previous seven-day period to reach 3,231 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report released on Thursday. On an annual level, the figure advanced by 249 billion cubic feet. Additionally, the stockpiles were 456 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,775 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was higher than the five-year historical range.
