Retail sales, Great Britain: June 2024
Retail sales volumes (quantity bought) are estimated to have fallen by 1.2% in June 2024, following a rise of 2.9% in May 2024 (unrevised from our last publication). Sales volumes fell across most sectors, with department stores and clothing retailers broadly returning to their Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) 2024 levels.
