Japan will not. They are too weak and too inept. Their government is deeply unpopular, it’s a shitshow. Their politicians are too weak to do what has to be done. If you read the BoJ summary of opinions there are some who wanted to dramatically increase monetary easing, not normalize their policy. Their currency is a reflection of that country’s dysfunction. And I own a lot of Yen, unfortunately.

BoJ already intervened earlier this year. Didn't work, did it? I think they will be much more careful now.

That was only a "quicky" then ... I think they were just testing waters, and I don't think they admitted to that intervention. This time it will be a real massive intervention that normally cause at least 500-1000 pips
i think BOJ intervene to not make yen strong, that wht i see at usd jpy chart, there is rejection everytime yen going strong. just my opinion.
So Sad Japanese people. Their global purchasing power melted like a candle.... So bad for them. Government and BOJ all must resign a.s.a.p.... orahould be judged at court due to This big betray against Japanese Citizens.

I went to Japan recently and there are more tourist than locals. Yen is just too cheap
The turnaround occurs when every yen cross pair is at a new annual high and the media is only talking about it. About now. Pump and dump. Time will tell.
