    The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) sets monetary policy to meet the 2% inflation target, and in a way that helps to sustain growth and employment. At its meeting ending on 20 September 2023, the MPC voted by a majority of 5–4 to maintain Bank Rate at 5.25%. Four members preferred to increase Bank Rate by 0.25 percentage points, to 5.5%. The Committee also voted unanimously to reduce the stock of UK government bond purchases held for monetary policy purposes, and financed by the issuance of central bank reserves, by £100 billion over the next twelve months, to a total of £658 billion. With the peak rate falling for GBP, Peak rate pretty much reached for EUR (even if they raise by one more 25 BPS who cares at this point) Japan is left to make a decision, I think they will hold negative rates but will present hawkish stance, and given Japan's stock market is nearly at ATH, we are going to see Yen resurgence in Q4 2023/Q1 2024.

Stagflation confirmed in all regions bar Japan/Korea so expect for commodities to start rising and calling BS on further hikes.

I personally think they will let it go, there is only so much they can do to artificially hold that curve, I think in 2024 that curve will explode past 1% and we will see a big shift. People have no idea what's coming to them, and if they thought Free money and 0% rates for multiple years won't have consequences down the line then they are idiots... but then again which country has an education system where they teach people this...
