She is absolutely correct. Raising the debt ceiling over and over is a band-aid. Stop the hand outs, stop spending on bullshit like climate change, stop sending money to foreign countries.
As an individual, when one is in debt and simply keeps borrowing, what is the eventual outcome?
and, jut to clarify, when I say hand outs, I AM NOT speaking of SS, although a complete ponzi scheme, those that paid in all of their lives deserve their benefits.

Until there is enough economic pain current state of affairs is going to continue.

There is no quick fix for bad policy that has been decades underway.

House majority is slim. There will be no groundbreaking change coming out of House speaker unless voters choose change candidates.

The easiest thing would just to drop all agendas and let positive capitalism and free market boost the economy.
Right now only a few chosen are by regulation able to make money. An economy will grow with a free market, positive values and a lower gap on income differences. Let the titans fall and lets startover.
Everyone likes US for what it once was, why not bring those aspects back and drop all the infiltration business? A nation can have friends rather than servants. Give freedom to people and the economy will thrive!
