With financial markets anticipating that the Fed will stop raising rates soon and possibly even cut them later this year, analysts say Powell will need to push back against such optimism. At 2 pm EST the FED will announce a 0.25% rate hike as expected.

At 2:30 is where the REAL action takes place.

If Powell comes out hawkish (Remember last August/September Jackson Hole?) DXY will fly up to 102 today and possibly as high as 104 by next week.

It all depends on the short squeeze that I expect to occur because EVERYONE thinks DXY is going down.
