Fed Hawk Waller Joins Other Officials Open to Half-Point Rate Hike
Federal Reserve officials backed expectations they will moderate interest-rate increases to 50 basis points next month, while stressing the need to keep hiking into 2023. In a speech on Wednesday, Governor Christopher Waller said his final decision on the size of the appropriate move next month will hinge on data.
