The inflation rate in Germany, measured as the year-on-year change in the consumer price index (CPI), stood at +10.4% in October 2022. The inflation rate thus rose again, following a 10.0% increase in September 2022. “At 10.4%, the inflation rate has reached an all-time high since German reunification,” says Dr. Georg Thiel, President of the Federal Statistical Office.
