Exports in August 2022: +1.6% on July 2022

In August 2022, German exports were up by 1.6% and imports by 3.4% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis compared with July 2022. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that exports increased by 18.1% and imports by 33.3% from August 2021. After calendar and seasonal adjustment, Germany exported goods to the total value of 133.1 billion euros and imported goods to the value of 131.9 billion euros in August 2022.
