Increase is not in doubt, it whether it be 0.5, 0.75 or 1% that will steal the show

0.5 will be disappointing to the market
0.75 is expected and other comments could weigh in
1.0 will take the dollar to the moon.

But when the Indx is at 20year high, a little softening may be in the park

That's what happened last meeting. Although it was more so because the press conference was dovish.

I guess this 75 bp increase will make the USD go up in the first case, but during the Powell Press Conference, the USD will go down!

(But we cannot forget the Putin factor. Putin's latest move may have affected the Fed's decision at the last moment. Maybe the Fed changed its decision today).
