It's simple the ECB is scared sh**less about energy - Russian oil & gas.

Since they are boycotting Russia where are they supposed to get it? CRISIS MODE
...because you never know - until you do!

I hate to say it but they've been wrong in the past, just like the FED.

Remember when the US and EU announced sanctions against Russia?

Remember when POTUS said the USA Sanctions would reduce the Rouble to Rubble?

Remember how the EU decided to not purchase Russian Energy BEFORE finding alternative sources?

NOW I'm reading about grain shortages in Asia and parts of Africa because they can't get it from Ukraine anymore. This whole war is causing major problems and not just in the Ukraine.

I think that there are member nations in the EU who are looking at Great Britan and saying to themselves, "If the Brits can breakaway so can we"
...because you never know - until you do!

They are talking about boycotting Russian energy not doing it. What the EU says and what it does are often very different. Don't be surprised to see them supporting Russia even more before the crisis ends.
