    An ominous sign about today's high inflation environment, and quite clearly the Federal Reserve is behind the hiking curve, is a contact close with the Fed complaining about out-of-control golf membership prices. Yes, you heard that correctly. Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia President Patrick Harker's speech cited "one of our contacts," presumably a Wall Street banker or corporate elite, complained about the "whopping membership fee increases at his golf club." Now that Wall Street is directly affected and upset, maybe the government will take inflation more seriously since they seem to care more about them than the rest of America. I'd like to see Powell's analysis behind his assertions last year that this would be transitory. A high school economics teacher could see the danger of long-term inflation on the horizon back in 2020 as a consequence of FED policy during that time.

I dont see the connection with inflation reports saying we have 3 or 4 or 5 percent inflation. Do these assholes in gove never go to the grocery store

Probably not, they are paid enough by big pharma, and the oil companies so they have someoine else do their shoopping for them
