Regular/Working people have been telling you those things for close to a year ! But Powell played politics and said inflation was going to be transitory.

The Fed and in particular, Powell, have no intention of dealing with inflation in any meaningful way. Inflation was always the policy to solve the 2008 crash problem. Couple this with the continued reckless govt spending program, so the stock and asset bubble party continues unabated.

Inflation is theft, so if you are at the bottom living hand to mouth, you are paying the price for these policies.

And if you are at the top the price of food, gas, and utilities doesn't matter. If you're rich you can just suck up everything like housing and sell it later at a profit. Inflation just makes the rich richer.

It's becoming more and more obvious that we are witnessing the slow death of fiat. In the near future it will be digital currency; and the supply will likely have a limit to avoid creating a mess like this again.
You don't know because you don't ask.

Career politicians, who are supposed to be public servants, created this mess. They also got rich in the process. They should be held accountable!
