Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf called on South Korea to come up with an immediate and practical solution to unfreeze the Iranian currency resources held in the East Asian country. In a meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-Kyun in Tehran on Monday, Qalibaf said the image of South Korea among the Iranian people and merchants has been tarnished since 2018 following Seoul’s unacceptable behavior in following the US sanctions.
