    The leader of Canada’s oil heartland called President Joe Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline project an “insult” and urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to consider retaliation. “This is a gut punch to the Alberta and Canadian economies,” Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said in a press conference Wednesday. “It’s an insult.” Last year, Kenney’s government invested $1.1 billion of taxpayer money to jump-start construction of the pipeline that would carry more than 800,000 barrels a day of crude from Alberta’s oil sands as far south as the U.S. Gulf Coast. You are starting to see this due to Google and they way they rank things online. They are protecting their business is what they are doing. Blame the Russian kid that started Google.
Premier kenny is just deflecting blame. Everyone and their dog knew that the Democrats would kybosh keystone yet kenny invested billions of taxpayer dollars and lost on a bet that trump would win the election. So now he is pointing the finger south when he should be pointing it at himself. The issue isn't whether the pipeline should or should not be built the issue is why did Alberta let kenny play fast and loose with taxpayers dollars. The smart thing to do would have been wait for US election results, the gall of him to gamble away money and blame someone else is pathetic.

Biden did the Big Showy Thing for the base and Trudeau can now argue Biden owes him some extra sweets.
