That makes no sense. If the 'West' is so undermined then so too will the Chinese economy, who need the 'West' to continue to buy their stuff.

I was right when I said the pot calling the kettle black.

China unleashed the virus strains, give me a break to start of with. Prove the word "unleashes" and shows it is indeed bio that some here are so happy to jump onboard and claimed here. Again without any facts.

If usa want to talk about unleashing, just talk about the Spanish Flu to start off with.....it originated from usa didn't it

No offence but I

Don't be sorry because I am not wrong, you are. Why the heck would China "unleash" it in their own country if it was a deliberate weapon? Short answer they wouldn't! You class yourself with the morons if you think Covid was done on purpose and blaming them without any evidence other than wacko conspiracy theories is racist. Stop and think about it.

Oxymoron. Some recent comments (both here and on other threads) have illustrated the vacuum of awareness.

Wouldn't allow the USD to slip into oblivion and being something of an anomalous curiosity in the history books?

I guess you can be optimistic about going to war, but it has nothing to do with whether you will get shot.

Answering all your comments here, first the virus originating in China does NOT mean they unleashed it that's tinfoil hat territory. Second, my comment has nothing to do with trading, it was just a response to a stupid passive aggressive comment. Third China has a terrible human rights record against anyone who goes against the grain but to think they would "unleash their "bioweapon in their own cities to orchestrate this pandemic is for lack of a better term moronic. I also think that blaming them for it without concrete evidence it was done on purpose is racist. It makes far more sense in this case to cite Hanlon's Razor.

It has been widely reported that China took measures to quarantine internally very early. It is also well known that in the meantime they nevertheless allowed international travel to proceed with questionable restrictions, if any.

I cannot vouch for the general integrity of this source, but it is consistent with everything else I've read. I'll just copy the first paragraph for those who don't click on links.

https://english.alarabiya.net/en/features/2020/04/09/Coronavirus-Critics-ask-why-China-allowed-flights-out-of-Hubei-during-outbreak

"China may have allowed the new coronavirus to spread across the world by allowing international flights to and from Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, while taking stronger measures to ensure the virus didn’t spread within China, according to the latest criticism of the country’s handling of the outbreak.

The ruling Communist party in China has previously been accused of underreporting cases and not communicating swiftly enough with the global community vital information about the virus, which first emerged in Wuhan in December 2019, including what the party knew about human-to-human transmission and just how fast it spread."
