Small business owners who have had their financial world turned upside down by radical ideological economic warfare cloaked as response to Covid, carried their American Flags dressed in jeans and jackets as the weather was quite chilly and breezy.
Flags such as Don't tread on me carried and waved, Flag of the lone star state, signs which said stop the steal or Trump won would be evident.
Not tattoos of hammer and sickle on their wrists or as I witnessed one person with tattoos all over their arms and back wearing a unicorn outfit. These are not the costume of Trump supporters.

If I were younger this person would have taken to the steps of the Capitol building and risked taking my lumps in Protest. Instead all could be done is stand there in support of what was unfolding before me. Then on the way back to Bus ride home jaywalked against a do not walk sign while crossing an intersection stopping traffic for a moment. Civil Disobedience being my only outlet of acting in addition to protest.

The majority of this crowd do not feel represented by the political system in the US and have put their weight behind Trump in the desperate hope that their voices will be heard. Although they seem enthralled with him it is only due to a lack of choice. Unfortunately not much time will be focused on this so the divisions will get wider.

I totally agree that entirely justified tensions due to inequality have been building not just in US society but in many western democracies. But privately, I sincerely believe the Trump/LePen/Salvini solution is not the answer. Instability makes everyone poorer. Though against ALL my capitalist instincts, I see much more realistic and workable solutions in the Scandinavian Danish/Finnish/Swedish/Norwegian socialist models. YES it sticks in my throat to say it but it does appear to work and create a more equal society... and if you are sincere in what youve said.. you'll know that history shows that things cant keep going as they are.

PS IMHO your NPD diagnosis is 100%.. But as investors and traders we now need to move on from this turbulence that surprisingly the markets are taking in their stride... though bonds are a different story.

How embarrassing for you trying to make excuses for the deplorable behavior by suggesting that the "bad stuff" wasn't done by Trump supporters. While I don't dismiss that radical groups do subversive things to undermine their rivals there is no logic behind them thwarting this demonstration. We have certain segments of our population blaming each other for what’s going on in America when really it’s just the way our society is structured. Rich to get richer and the poor fall deeper into poverty. There wouldn’t be capitalism without it yet certain parts of our poorer population think that capitalism is benefiting them but in fact it’s not benefiting anybody but the wealthy. Why do they keep voting against their own interests is the real question. I will go as far as also saying that we need to have some level of censorship in America and on the internet. People shouldn’t not be able to spread lies and pass it on as good info because it will always appeal to people’s lesser sides and here we have the capital being vandalized and 4 deaths. Why? Because people are being manipulated into believing lies. I live in Georgia and filed a mail in ballot and I would say it’s a pain to actually vote in Georgia. In order for a persons ballot to be accepted the signature on the ballot and the signature on your license much match. No way in heak over 40k fraudulent signatures so to sum things up Perdue is a known name in Georgia and he got ousted by a guy who had no business beating Perdue in the state of GA just based on history. Scam the system and get fraudulent credit cards and run scams on the Government so can someone explain to me why it’s easier to scam a person out of their life savings and scam the government and businesses but yet we have to jump through loop holes and sit in long lines to vote. Why make things so difficult? Facts are it was restraint exhibited by these people that prevented carnage.

The US constitution is outdated in it's current form. The past 4 years have shown this very clearly. Courts should also be non-political, this applies especially to the Supreme Court.

I was a bit worried we lose the Trump Reality show, which has been fun and good entertainment last 4 years. But seems like we will not. It will be a twist on it, of course. We will have the new season of it, the trial against him. More serious and not so much comic directions as we are used to, but a more serious direction. I guess he will end up in jail anyway, and I dont care where he is put, as long as he is not in any lead of power as he has been. A tragic chapter in USA history, but top entertainment.

I spoke with an old friend who lives in PA and he said everyone is going crazy over there. They are so angry they want to kill each other. Poor guy, he sounded disturbed. He said he feels like blocking everyone on Facebook.
This thing is not over yet. I got a feeling the whole thing is going to boil over soon.

It is going to be extremely difficult for America to dictate other countries about democracy from now on......which on hind sight a good result. As those of us who have eyes and sound minds could see whatever country America invaded and exited is always left in worst condition than before.
