Im not expert in US politic.. So just an outsider opinion.. on what seems to be a surprise result//

ie.. That Mr Trumps performance in rejecting his own election result and some Reps ambivalence in condemning it, has so pissed off a lot of middleground voters that the overall GOP vote has suffered.

If both seats go Democrat.. will have huge implications for Biden presidency and policy... and for markets.

The republicans and Trump himself have to thank themselves for this fantastic result. They have created the biggest ever clownarium in the political history of USA and the biggest ever clown is on his way out of the WH.

Finally. It took time, but eventually the majority of the Americans came to their senses.

because those tv shows and votes are all rigged as well. Everything is a lie. Everyone lies. Taking more time to count votes just keeps people tuned in watching, and therefore more ad views, more mind control. The next step is that either side, Dems or Reps, should dispute the results so we can have more 'debate' (crap opinions really), on what was done wrong. That should take us to around Jan 20 when they can use the inauguration to keep our attention for a few days, then on to the next thing etc. All the while we, the general public THINK we have control...Laugh, we have nothing.

Yea which was my point elsewhere about the Georgia elections which was supposed to be positive for risk assets if Democrats won and therefore bad for the $. Which is why predicting markets is a gamble especially for short-term trades most of the time.

Or has it backfired on them by sending a message to their voters that it doesn't matter if they vote because, in the end, it will not count. They are not yelling anymore. After the election they were hoping of winning the 2 Senate seat so kept silence about what Trump would say so as not to upset him and his base. Now that they have lost, they dont have to put up with him anymore. McConnel would have let Trump rape his wife if it meant they could keep the senate. It was all a big gamble and they lost.
