A slight conspiracy theory but I feel COVID-19 was released by China to take down Trump politically for humiliating them over the trade deal.

Not a coincidence UK had the lockdown vote in parliament on the 4th Nov.. In normal circumstances the election winner would have been known.

The UK has it's head over a block at this moment and if trump falls the UK will never be sovereign.

I agree with the shenanagins about Hong Kong and Taiwan but all the Covid conspiracy is BS, yes at first everyone was slow to admit what it was and everyone wants to blame everyone else but once they knew for sure (early January) China acted properly. I cite Hanlon's razor in this case.

Sorry I just looked at the pictures, yes its horrible and yes it's training and also the culture within the police forces. Its sad that it has become such a them and us because there are a lot of good policemen and women that have to deal with flak they never caused. Another reason I have no respect for trump when he says things that are intended to incite rather than quell situations.

What is of GREAT concern, in the event of that being confirmed in the days and weeks ahead.. is the potential damage a vindictive and embittered outgoing president may do to the economy and the countrys reputation in the period before a new presidents inauguration.
That is whats worrying markets and many leaders around the world and should IMHO be exercising American minds too.

I know they are not exactly economy related but a few things I can think of are:

Firstly, there is going to be a long line up for the WH shredder for sure.
A few more criminals/his associates will be pardoned.
He might appoint some of his surrogates to some prominent positions hoping they won't get canned on Jan 21st.
He will try to connect some of his crimes to the necessities of his presidency, so the gov. will have to pick up his defense costs.
Having been inside the gov. and made a few friends, he might concoct some shady business with his partners to profit later from his kno9wledge.
He might even have inside info on his GOP buddies to hold against them and make deals in exchange for staying silent.
He might even have some big pay checks waiting for him for all the favors he has done for Russia and all the arms deals he has arranged for his Arab buddies. Time to cash in.

Its a problem for both sides in discussions here, between what represents Centrism between European and US members in discussions about political alignment. Fact that for Europeans (EU +UK makes half a billion people living in western democracies, ) what most Americans regard as "Socialist"is actually centrist in a EU context.
Europeans regard nationalized Health, strong social security services and community support and the responsibility of the state in care of the individual citizen as a norm..a basic right, and of course pay much higher taxes as a result. Thats what works for us. Europeans and we're not going to change
And as a result the carelessness and dismissal of these values thats the norm in American society appears strange or European members.

# Just some thoughts to maybe help better understanding and mutual respect between members on different sides of the Atlantic.

Maybe CV19 was a Trumpie invention.....Remember CV19 affect mainly minorities. Maybe this is the wall Trumpie really had in mind! Clearly as daft as Trumpie is he didnt consider the economic implication of CV19 and like his 79million supporters he cant see that a better management of cv19 crisis is the best approach to address the economy and get it rolling in right direction.

But unfortunately the Americans can not read the hand writing on the wall.Am not in support of Trump 100% but I think when it comes to economy and securing His people he does it with so much love.I hope in the next 4 years if Biden who will surely be a puppet in the hand of (Pelosi) will not go back to era were Iranian machine kills Americans and go free with Helicopter money and also America will be like France.We watch.GOD Bless the world.

The same sort of things were said about Pence when Trump picked him for VP. In fact it is said about just about all VP's. Especially since assignation of JFK.
All presidents pick their VP's for the possibility of being replaced by that VP for one reason or another. Come up with something new.

Exactly, every Biden supporter who is asked, "Why Biden"?, the answer is I don't like Trump, Trump is a racist, etc. These morons have no idea what they voted for. If you really did some research, how on earth could you back his policies. Yes, China will be back to taking tremendous advantage of us (as they have for years pre-Trump). They say they are going to improve the economy, lol. He had it the best it's been in decades despite everything thrown at him. When you look at the results he's produced, he will go down as one of the BEST presidents in the past 100 years despite the media being against him every single day, despite the biggest pandemic world has ever seen. Especially on this site, I am quite shocked as capital gains tax could potentially be 44%.
Its amazing really. What Biden/Harris stand for is the complete destruction of the U.S.A. - no more "Free to Choose" ala Milton Friedman. And half the country's voters seem to think that's ok.
