More like ignorance of the economic implications of a stimulus package at this point by those inclined to view the stimulus as undeserved giveaway to portions of the populace they view culturally as never do wells (rather than what it really is, i.e. a clever means invented by economists to keep even such groups and the rest of the everybody crowd afloat especially in situations where no one can actually be blamed for their immediate circumstance hate them or not). Ignorance of course is not always bliss.

Its very simple. The democrats want enough money for the whole country. The republicans want enough money for plutocrats and not so much for the rest of the people. Even Trump can't agree with the republicans on this one cause even he had a higher price than what the republicans are willing to give.
The republicans are totaly detached form the average everyday people and the state of the country at the moment.
While the economy was doing very good they gave a major unnecesary tax cut to the wealty now in bad times they can't find the money to bail out the american people. In good times you supposed to save for rainy days. I thought that was the conventional wisdom.

Things are rarely simple. Intenetions are rarely clear. The House and the Senate are filled with politicians who only want your campaign donations and your vote. After you give it to them they no longer want to be around you.

Looks like since 12th Oct until 16th Oct the EU had been bearish. Besides the stimulus package has not been approved yet, the news about US-Taiwan arms sale make the sentiment to be on "Risk-off". Do correct me if I'm wrong.
