Hi All,

I just wanted to start a thread sharing the most successful Forex trading method to date!

I have caused alot of shake ups on other threads due to the domination of my method on their posts so I chose to start my own.

Here it goes... It's quite simple. On a 1 Hr chart, plot 5/12 EMA's. Plot RSI set at 21. When the 5/12 crosses up and the 21 RSI crosses above 50 you go long. When the 5/12 crosses down and the 21 RSI goes below 50 you short.

This method is proven to be at least 85% accurate!

I leave this thread open to any and all improvements. I thank you for your time and I hope this helps you all become more successful traders!!!

Grill,

That is actually what I, Renasdad and Art do... This combined with the 1hr Vegas indicator for the use of his fib lines... Hopefully Renasdad will post the 1 hr Vegas indicator to further explain how we take trades using fibs!

Ok, Ok, Ok,

I'm here man!!!
Will post when I get the chance. As you guys know, I don't have time like I used to though.

This system, I booked 700 pips two weeks ago and 832 pips last week. Things will slow down though due to my new job. As Vegas says, August is one of the slowest months in trading and to get some pips like I did in August amazes me. Lets see what happens with time.

Hi Bagovino !

First of all thank you very much for your posts on Sidus thread
You're right that this system is near a holy grail.....

My question regarding your system is as follows :

How are the settings for the weekly chart ?
I'm using this TF to check the longer trend.

Happy Pippin

EMA on close or median or?
No stops? Is it a perpetual system, i.e. you never are out of trades?
If not, where to exit?

Etc.
Please give some details.

Also:
How about not entering when RSI is too close/near 50 or has been moving from 49-51 the past few hours >>> not trending/whiplashing. Wait for trend to resume or RSI to become a real value over or under 50.

Second addition: add to trade if trend is strong (RSI over 60 / under 40 and fast EMA has some distance to slow EMA) on price touches of the slow EMA.
Trust price. Know yourself.

EMA's on close.... Entry on the 5/12 cross with the 21 RSI above (Long) or below (Short) for entry. Exits on Fibs.... I draw the fibs on the charts, but Renasdad had a 1hr Vegas tunnel indicator which I hopes he posts for you all to use as entries and exits on trades.

Here is a perfect trade, using the vegas 1H fib. levels...

Enter on the 5/12 cross with 3 lots... closing first lot at first fib. level, second on the second fib.level and third at the third level.

Ah, right...so basically you take the Vegas 1hour tunnel method(uses a 12 EMA as well for the signal line) and add a 5 EMA on close, a 21 RSI and a totally rabid MA cross logic with RSI filter and then get more trading signals than George Bush has silly ideas....

Well, it's all clear to me now!

But I don't know if it's a good idea to post images from a perfectly trending month, look at what it did all of August, it's terrible...massive chop suey.
Just saying, be careful...the RSI might filter some trades, but no direction means no trade in any case =)

Remember:
Small timeframes + fast EMAs = tons of trades = feeding your bucketshop with spread until it hurts...
You waste a lot of pips just making the trade itself, which in turn reduces efficiency.

But if it makes pips then sure, go for it. But I don't think you made hundreds of pips trading just a single currency in one week in August? (wouldn't see them on my currencies on my charts here...)
And if you did, and people keep posting this, why not post the logs for it (either balance sheets or charts with marked entry/exits of the corresponding week and not July *wink*). I sure would love to see it as education =)
Trust price. Know yourself.

That is not the perfect setup thoug. Notice where the RSI is. It is way above 50. Although, when price is that far away from the tunnel, discretion can be used and override the rsi. The perfect setup is when 5/12 RSI/50 cross happen at the same time.

For any one wanting to see what method I use, I will provide the link to my journal for many charts and to show where discretion is used. Sometimes, a person could take a trade with out either of the crosses.

Well... I think it's a very nice and simple trade... Maybe that the RSI is a bit over 50 but this trade would give over 180 pips with 3 lots.

This is true, it would have given that much but, a true signal is when the 5/12 rsi/50 cross both happen.
