Between March 2007 and December 2007, I have withdrawn $17,790 to my bank in trading profits, so am anxious to know why this has not happened to me so far.

forexlion, probably because you are a trader, trading by the rules.

  • One thng which has really amazed me is the ease of earning profits using long term trend charts.
  • I simply do not have to bother for any news events.
FXOpen do not take kindly to clients that trade the lagging quotes during
a news release. This would be the reason that the accounts were shutdown.

Learn how to trade guys.........

I'll tend to agree. Trading the news with a bucket shop and succeeding at it will usually end up with a closed account if this is your only way of trading.

One should be safe trading only from time to time the news and having a normal strategy the rest of the time.

They are a bunch of crooks. Reports them to the authority but according to the link, they are in the Seychelles and this is a safe haven for crooks so i'm not sure you will suceed but it is still worth the time.

Many people allready reported being stolen their money from FXO and they never got it back.

Here it is an obvious false spike that sent your account to bankrupcy. They have to correct it and give back the money.

Also they are threatening you. Do not care a bit about what they say. You did not exploit their system, you did not hacked into their system so they can report you any time they want, you dont risk much, they do !

Hello Maxey,
Once again I will explain the whole situation.
I am not surprised that the people which accounts were voided are "your friends". Last time it were 4 or 5 people which tryed to use forbidden software. It is sad, because it means that you sell your software for 4-5 people more, gave fake believes...very sad. FXOpen has announced many-many times that trading using softwares which are based on data feed transporting delays or open positions during the spikes (wrong quots) are forbidden to use in FXOpen trading platform (as well as at any MT4 broker). As I see situation you have sell this software (forexmuse) for your friends via this link for example: http://www.forexmuse.com/maxey.aspx , and actually this people paid you money for nothing. Once again, I want to say to all newbies , please do not spend your money for this kind of softwares. Most probably people selling this software will show you demo server results which are really fantastic but the whole story will be different when you will try to trade on Live account. FXOpen and all MT4 brokers do not allow to trade on spikes and will cancel any position opened during the lag. You can trade during the news, open as many positions as you like and make any profit which will be always paid by the company if you a REAL TRADER.

trading a news release means trading(taking long or short positions) when there is high volatility(during a news release). you can make a lot of money doing it, but with the proper broker.

Trading News? For most who "trade" the news it is more like gambling. They usually use as much margin as they possibly can, then straddle (buy and sell orders set a certain amount of pips above/below the market) to try and catch the move. Others look at the headline figures and open some random position. Others scalp to get a few pips from the often whippy moves. I suggest not trying to "trade" the news unless you have access to high end news resources, and a degree or something that lets you quickly analyse the news release and trade accordingly in a safe way using your normal margin use.

And yeah, fxopen supports scalps but I don't use them for that. I trade longer term with them for the swap free account. I scalp on my smaller Alpari account instead
