I just down loaded the meta trader soft ware. Trying to set it up. How does one resize the fonts to make them larger to see them better? Any body got a clue to this?

Thanks

I am going to guess you are not talking about the font size if you are placing text on your chart. As this is quit simple, there is a choice of font size where you enter the text. I believe you are asking about the size (font) of the pair quotes .
And in that case I am with you and am replying just to keep this question up front.
Thanks for asking for us.

I don't know of a way to increase the font size of the price scale. You can always set your screen at a lower resolution which will make the numbers easier to read. There are are several different indicators that will show the current price in a larger format on the chart. There is a chance that changing the color of the numbers or background may make the numbers more readable to your eyes. Once in a while I use the the F10 popup prices to view larger price quotes. You can move the box around and change the font sizes in it.

For me anyway you had a good solution. Bottom line, with my setup a black chart with white numbers in the scale just does not come out clear I don't care how small you make the resolution. So I guess I will have to change my charts to some light background dark number format. Just hate those white charts at 3AM.
Hmmmm....
That brings up another question.
Could we have the price scale white with black numbers while we keep a black background chart ?

Wow never thought I would get so many replys. Thank you for all your input. Sorry for not responding sooner but PC blew a big one. Just got it replaced yesterday. Just got done adding the old hard drive in to this new one . So now I have 2 hard drives in one PC. Well I was mainly concern with the font size of the priceing on the right hand of the charts. Some charting software allow you to adjust the font sizeing on it. But this meta tradeing software it seem you can do more with it and alot more indercators to learn beside I have seen. I have been trying to find a manual that I can down load and print out. Some thing in a PDF format, has any one seen or know of any manual you can down load & read at all? Or is it all just help file's format?
Well thanks again to every one replys hopefuly I can find more time to come on to this site. ( that if I dont get ban again )

The MMPI indicator is a great help. Makes me realize all I need is a monitor about the size of a picture window.
Found a problem with changing the screen resolution. When you do that yes the numbers are bigger. But another problem arrives If you have a bunch of custom indicators they do not all appear when you pull them up threw "insert' and you can't get to the scroll arrow to look for them.

I have not recently switched resolution but I do not remember having any trouble with indicators loading when I did. I have an old computer that I run a couple of EAs on. It has such an old monitor it has to run at a lower resolution than my LCD flatscreens. The indicators I use work about the same on each monitor. Maybe we are using different types of custom indicators. I think I remember Scott made a post about using lower resolutions but I can't find it. I'll keep looking.

Thanks for your interest. It probably has something to do with my set up. I am running 4 monitors with two video cards and was changing the resolution on one monitor. I am surprised the thing didn't just burst into flames. I tried it again just too satisfy the cat and sure enough I could not scroll threw the entire list of custom indicators. No problem I just move some to a holding file. Why anyone would need more than 15, indicators except to play with is beyond me anyway. On second thought make that 2 indicators.
Have a great day.

As a solution to reading the price scale and other small stuff.
I stumbled across this and it works great.
Go to "programs-accessories - accessibility-magnifier... Click on that little baby and it brings up a screen where you can adjust several features but bottom line you have a small screen that you can adjust and drag to wherever you want, This screen can be adjusted to show the area around your cursor at different magnifications, It also works great for looking at charts that cover a long time to detect things like' " did that price actually cross the fib line or not" Anyway you get the idea.
I can die a happy man now.
