Thanks cryten

Would it be possible for you to post some trades that you take as it will help in reinforcing what to look for. Your system is pretty easy to follow but I am a little challenged.

Of course each of us trade at our own risk

Also, how well does this system work on larger TFs?

Thanks again.

I will definitely be posting some trades. I will be up another hour or two. Then will be around for the NY market.

So far have not caught any for today.

Cryte....

What indicator is the small dots showned at your chart?

I first tought it was QQE Alert set to period 1 so i downloaded it and attached it to my chart but the QQE just showed 2 lines doing som crossover.

I really like dots and arrows so if you could tell me what indicator it is i would appriciate it.

This is the QQE, when the lines cross a dot is formed. Are you using the vtrader one that I posted QQE_Alert? as far as I know the QQE for Mt4 does not have a dots.

Sure, I will have a look at the charts round US open but not trading live today as it's a bank holiday in the uk and I have been burned before.

I have a daily GBP/JPY daily chart open with the QQE_Alerts and I considering this too but without the other indicators, looks nice

I don't trade with CMS anyomre so i don't use VT. But now when i know what the dots representate there is no problem. I can look at the cross of qqe then.

thanks.

Cool,

Remember guys today is a bank holiday in the uk. I'm gonna check to see if there is any action around the US open for the purpose of displaying some trade pics but i would never trade a bank holiday live.

I am no forex guru, but load this system to your charts and see! Demo, visual backtest and now live trading = very excited cryten

My charts and indicators are all Vtrader, do a search as there is a qqe mq4 indicator on one of auslanco's threads
It looks great. Still trying to intrepret the rules. Can you explain it bit in detail, how it works. Because as you said sell at pink dot and buy it at blue dot, but what about when there forms a blue and red arrow? Could you please explain about that?

Hi there are no arrows, arrows on my pics are put there by me to try and show you which move I am explaining.

As i said in my first post I don't jump into a trade as soon as a dot appears, all indicators need to agree including the heiken ashi candles sticks. The heiken ashi lets me immediatly see the sentiment of the market. If all other indicators show a possible buy or sell but the heikin ashi candles are a mess i won't trade.

See my previous posts with charts where i try to explain.

here's probably a better explanation from investopedia

There are five primary signals that identify trends and buying opportunities:
  1. Blue candles with no lower "shadows" indicate a strong uptrend: let your profits ride!
  2. Blue candles signify an uptrend: you might want to add to your long position, and exit short positions.
  3. One candle with a small body surrounded by upper and lower shadows indicates a trend change: risk-loving traders might buy or sell here, while others will wait for confirmation before going short or long.
  4. Red candles indicate a downtrend: you might want to add to your short position, and exit long positions.
  5. Red candles with no higher shadows identify a strong downtrend: stay short until there's a change in trend.
These signals show that locating trends or opportunities becomes a lot easier with this system. The trends are not interrupted by false signals as often, and are thus more easily spotted. Furthermore, opportunities to buy during times of consolidation are also apparent.

Look forward to following your trades and also in seeing the
one year backtesting results of this method.

Thank you.
