This thread is mainly focusing on EURJPY trading. Whether you are bulls, bears or something in between, please feel at home here. This thread is based on the principle of the freedom of speech. However, there are some simple rules below:
  1. The messages are limited to EURJPY trading and related personal exchanges.
  2. No dirty or attacking languages in any forms are permitted.
I'd welcome discussions of EURJPY EWP, histories and cultures of EU and Japan in this thread as well.

I will monitor this thread closely and report any messages breaking the rules to FF in a timely manner. Now, let's go!

EURJPY is a great pair to trade IMO. It moves hundreds pips daily. I welcome everyone's contributions to help each other make more pips from trading this pair.

Based on the EWP and chart readings, I believe a corrective move has been underway since 2/6/13.

Oh damn, I love that pic. The euro jpy is the single and only currency pair I trade. I need the profits for some very exciting outings with a gal like that one.. huh hooo!!

"yen for it" is a colloquialism expressing a desire or craving, and in the context of central bank thinking the interventions may be all about a return to the carry trade and a funding currency........the Yen, for many reasons may fit that bill so who knows what conversations/planing/execution take place in private conversation behind the scenes, and later pitched to the unwitting public as the 'next great economic escape'.

if so, then return to carry trade seems to fit the objective of return to economic stabilization by policymakers......just my opinion and i may be completely wrong too......maybe it will rain cats and dogs for long S&Ps soon?

as for the photos i have an 'eye' for it/always did/a gift i think, and somehow seem to pick up the ones i think convey a timely metaphor for reality, or dreams for reality...so, not keeping an inventory other than a select few.......magic was a keeper

presenting a visual is standard fare for the advertizing industry to sell everything under the sun from a to z and back again.

i use black and whites to send a message so really just taking a page out of someone else's book who figured out the effectiveness of the tactic long time ago....i guess maybe the risk is the message gets lost for the photo, and besides, i really just like to trade and write and exchange views..and looking at and appreciating nice lines and form too

Seems to me, you are a philosopher. Preferring black and white photos over colors is a mindset of Zen.

Although Zen was started in China, It has been deep rooted in Japanese culture for a long time.

Exposed concrete architecture is a major design language used by the architects in Japan for quiet a long time. Such expression is a manifestation of Zen IMO.

Japan's name was given by a Tang Dynasty empress [690-705 AD]. Due to the relative geographic locations, the meaning of Japan is "The place where the Sun rises."

The flag of Japan expresses this meaning in a very simple but meaningful way.

Euro has run up a few thousands pips against Yen. Is it so valuable? Is it going to collapse from this level or continue its bull run? This is a good question for ever trader. Looking forward to seeing some comments in regard to this pair's next moves.

you are right that the concrete architecture is also incredible especially the way it has been used in Japan........i lived there for a while and was stunned by the sophistication of the culture........ design language is a genius of the Japanese, imo

If Sunday opens without violating previous low, the trading on next few sessions may be ranging in this 400 pips trading zone [yellow colored channel] IMO.

roro, thanks for your nice words and video. Is that Japanese music? A sound from the ancient land. Personally, I like Japanese cultures and arts.

Trading is an art. The candlestick charting is a form of art in trading the rice market. The Japanese who invented such charting must have a mindset of seeing the market differently. I hope that I can realize what his mindset was in order to apply his art in trading in a different approach from what I have learned from Nison's books.
