It appears we contradicted ourselves, thank you for pointing it out Hugh

Earlier we said "It is FREE to join, everyone can participate in this affiliate program even if you do not have website or blog." #1 in the first post.

Anyone can join as an affiliate.

That's a bit harsh isn't it? The bloke is only trying to make a few quid. His signals and his intentions are probably good.

You know a lot of people who get involved in selling something related to forex do it because they like helping people just as much as they want to make some money for their own accounts.

I wouldn't be so cynical if I were you, you'll feel happier if you try to see the good side of everything instead of being down on everything. Maybe it's you that should be banned from forex factory for being such a downer neg head?

Please google "affiliate program" and you will discover many companies reward referrals through a similar program. In fact the first two listings that show up on the google search are Amazon and Apple. The difference between us and most? We are offering a 30% cut of our profits monthly to the referring subscriber, not simply a one time payment.

Why did we start offering an Affiliate Program?

In evaluating our new subscribers in 2012, we saw OVER 70% of new subscribers were coming from a friends and family referral.
Now if a subscriber were losing constantly with a signal service, why would they refer their brother to join?

Lastly...

This is a program we did not need to do. We could have used the 30% for growth within the business, however we want to stay small and focus on trading, and give credit where credit is due, back to our subscriber base.

We are in the market to trade forex, and help others succeed at doing so at the same time. We considered the Affiliate Program an additional "bonus" and have receiving great joy from watching our members respond to this new Program.

i found your service dishonest with times trades sent out and closing trades in profit when they were losing trades and changing results on your site.

Our reply:

How can we possibly fake the numbers of a TradeCopier? What you see is what you get. Garrye was obviously trying to follow our signals manually, which is virtually impossible even for us to do (due to our precise entry, often times the market will only test the level once and then take off, and that one test will be very brief). We all know a handful of pips lost here and there, due to late entry, can affect the overall edge in the long term. We have kept the manual trading subscription option on our website, as many traders still enjoyed placing the trades themselves, and it costs less, however reduces the overall edge due to late entry, emotions etc.

Truth of the matter is, if we scale in or out of a position, yes we will need to update the numbers on our website to reflect the average price TradeCopier members entered or closed at, for manual traders to see.

We are looking to cancel the manual trading option completely in 2013, and keeping TradeCopier product as the only option, as Members have the opportunity to toggle it on and off, while still receiving emailed signals.

I think that says enough. You know if you put people on your ignore list they can't post rubbish on your threads?

No you didn't, you made about $13,000 for the year. You didn't have all 60 members there for the full year - after the first month you only had 5 members.

Looking again your figure of $400/year per member is wrong too. 30% of a $99.97 monthly subscription is about $360, not $400. This makes it about $11,600.

Good points. I can clarify..

Yes, the first year as an affiliate is a Building stage, for this reason we said "Per subscriber per year." We were not referring to the first year as an affiliate, we were simply saying "per year." However, we do have subscribers who are referring more than 5 new subscribers per month at this point, so we know there will be great rewards in store for them.

For the year 2013, we found an average between our lowest price of $99.97 ($30 x 12 = $360) and $149.97 ($45 x 12 = $540 )

The average of the 2 would be $450, so we came in at a conservative number below that figure at $400 per year. However much like trading and insurance, it is pretty amazing what the numbers can do in year 2,3,4 etc.

I will break it down from our perspective.

5 x 12 = 60 5 Members referred per month x 12 months per year

($99.97 + $149.97) / 2 = $124.97 Average of the 2 Price Points in 2013

$124.97 x 30% = $37.49 Payout from the average Price Points, as New Member Signups will be mixed between products

$37.49 x 12 = $449.89 Total Average payout per Member

$449.89 x 60 = $26,993.52 Total Average Payout from 60 Members

Again we kept things conservative, coming in at $24,000 also not factoring in the additional New Member referrals each month rolling forward.

Save your time. The gains we make in Forex far exceeds an Affiliate Program.

Our main focus in rolling out this program, is to reward the Members who are constantly sending Friends and Family our way. We are grateful and feel indebted to them. This is a great way to create a free membership for them, and provide additional income on the side.

Also, we recognize there are many other entrepreneurs out there, like ourselves, who enjoy managing multiple lines of business and income. This provides a potential opportunity to them as well.
