Still Basketting

PA is hitting some serious resistance and H4 HAS is leveling off. Keep Vigilant.

I was facing the same experience too, but now I try to change:
UseTrailing = false;
TrailFixed = false;
FixedTrailValue = 10;
TrailPercent = false;
TrailPrcntage = 75;
"--Trailing/BE+Lock Defaults";
DftTrailingAtValue = 15;
DftBreakevenAtValue = 10;
DftLockValue = 5;

Let's see whether it help or not.

Having a problem. Script was working just find on demo, but when I trade it on live account, it only opens 12 and not 14. All my pairs are shown in the platform but for some reason it will not open up the two opposite trading pairs, GBPCHF and USDCHF.

Hi,

Have you tried re-running the script? This should usually open only the pairs that haven't been opened.
Also, just as a bit of advice, you should really be using GVC's EA even if you don't want it to autotrade.
Disable autotrading and use it as a dashboard. Just highlight and drag the necessary button and it does all the checking and re-checking for you making sure all orders have been processed.

It's a great tool thanks to GVC.

I really feel for you, Look for Charvo on FF he is a Chinese whose English is good, PM him and pray that he is disposed to help you in translating the EA part. Google cannot help you in this matter. OR if there is any other chinaman here pls help kaixinjili

Anybody takes Buy or what? I see the price going up of HAS H1. Is it a kind of pull back?
May be as a newbie, I need something else to confirm a signal, not only HAS and VQ but I do not know what else to see.

first off thanks for this great system n thanks GVC for the superb ea! makes trading this on multi timeframes real simple!
i started trading this live on 0.01 lots this week..not a great week...we r seeing tons of whipsaws on m5,m15 and even h1...... but thankfully losses were not that big.

so Kosmo, have u traded through such whipsaws in the last 12 months or so? did it sail thru eventually?
b4 this week, the charts looked really smooth but this week has been kinda brutal.
Kos/Gvc?Or any of the Pros on here,

Anyone know why my H4 Offline disappeared? "window updating" displayed.
I've checked the "open offline" menu and it no longer there.
I've checked the history folder in MT4's install folder and it's there.

Tried creating new one using both BasketV6 & Basket V7 no joy.
Tried restarting terminal - no joy.
Rebooting PC - no joy
Next thing to do is re-install really which I'm holding out on at the moment.

It's funny cos I had no trouble till I went live.

Grown to love and respect H4 and I now feel naked without it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Stephenoye delete the H4 on your history folder and create a new 1 using basket. Should do the trick.

Already tried - no joy.

If anyone has a suggestion may be best to PM me so it doesn't pad out the thread.
When we have a solution we'll post it back here.

So it started when I was at my friends- Who is much older than me, about 50+ years( I'm only 21), and has a lot of experience in equity and some in forex markets

So he incorporated me to read this forum and start testing yours strategy of trading. After few days of reading and rereading, setting up the platform and
some digging in google i was able to set almost everything up.

Except the T101 Basket Trader 2.2v doesn't work for me and I wasn't able to understand why, even after trying to google it out, so I hope someone is willing to helpme with this issue. Pic is attached below

Shortly i will post a picture of my trade.

I entered using 1H window as i saw this channel forming. When the price bounced of the lower line i took the trade. I reversed the C pairs, but only UC is giving the pips, his brother GC is stealing double the amount LOL. As the price is approaching upper level i might consider placing a short if it turns around. But the lower 15min is green all the way, so we probably will get through it. ATM 360 pips+ ant still counting

Also i hope tnavi you exit that short long ago mate

You can set it 2 places:

In MT4 go to "Tools-Options" menu (or hit Ctrl-O). There select the "Expert Advisors" tab, and set is as you can see in my screenshot.

The other method: when you attach the EA to the chart, then a window pops up with the settings. In this window you can find 2 tabs: "Common" and "Inputs". Here click on the "Common" tab and set is as in my other screenshot.

use the forceLoadHistoricalData indicator to download and update your history
its likely the data you have is smaller than the maxbar you specified in the basketv6 indicator

alternatively, keep reducing the maxbar of basketv6 until H4 shows up, but I would prefer to do the 1st option

If its not paying the bills I would have dumped it long ago, after every big trend you should expect the chops, its only unfortunate that you go live during the whippyshawwy times, but hang in there it wont last for long, with your good MM you will outlast it.

by the end of the week we would see how brutal the week would be, cos now am still afloat.
