Cluster SR - interesting, new way of looking at support & resistance

Roughtrader - are you still using this to identify support & resistance?

fosking - how did the testing of your system based on this indicator go?

Im using it, I haven't done so much testing with it more han actual trading, I think that would require coding it into a EA or something, but I don't know how to code so, but so far it's been a good tool to spot turningpoints in the market, like as where a bounce is most likely to be. thats how I mostly use it, I mean you can just plot it on the chart and eyeball it, then you see how effective it is. It's not a system, only a tool amongst others I use to find entrys. it is my belief that if you have a working system, you can improve your winrate considerably by using them together. but it is definitely profitable all by it self with prooper mm

Everybody already does.... we read post #4 of this thread for the template, and we read at least the first page of this thread for a pretty clear idea about the topic.

Since I've read this (the day the thread was started), I started to use this to verify turning points and I'm very positively surprised with the results. My setups have been more accurate ever since. I'm going to keep this incorporated in my trading system for sure!

I treat it as a confirmation signal. It's spectacular to see how powerful this "confirmation" is, when facing confluence with s/r lines, pivot points, fibo lines, trendlines and big round numbers.

Thanks a lot for bringing this to my attention. And now, this thread quickly needs to die off, so nobody can exploit this system excessively. Just kidding.
