Go Markets are not as good as they used to be but I am not experiencing any slippage since the new people took over. You could also have a read of the Pepperstone thread,
Cheers I will do.
I used to have account with GO, there spread is a little higher than axi, that is why I changed but if I am going to cop all this slippage I might be better paying more spread to start with.
Either way they sting ya!

What is this with the certified stamped ID crap. This is new to me. New standard?

Will take a while before i have a chance to do this. If i ever get around to it...

Would be nice just to scan, send and open, fund and then trade, like all the others do…

Certified crap done. Testing standard account next week.

Any issues I need to be aware of? Besides what has been posted already.

Thks

This thread seems quiet. Either no one has issues and you are all happy ,or almost no one here in this forum is trading with them... Which one is it?

I'm pretty happy with them Ramy. Have been for years and grabbed a beer with one of them when I was in Sydney.

watch out for slippage, They are the worst broker I have ever seen for slippage!! most of my trades are pending orders and can be sitting there for a while before price reaches them to trigger, and i was still getting slippage. For 2 weeks I compared them with other brokers and Axi had the most slippage every sinlge time.
Cheers

Happy user for several years now. Of course all brokers have their issues from time to time but they always fix things up nicely. One of the best aussie brokers IMO

I agree with Muzza, brokers have their issues but it is how they recover and help their clients that separates them from a good broker to a great broker... For me, as a Tick Scalper using their pro account I couldn't be happier.. I got a rebate through a provider that makes them more comeptitive than the rest. Slippage is a part of trading, I'd be worried if I'm getting perfect fills every time I trade Coastie... It's only a matter of time before they switch their feed.

Execution speed pretty good 250ish ms avg according to one of my scripts. Getting pretty good fills, and as for slippage, nothing out of the ordinary that I can tell so far. So far I am happy with them. (Standard account)

Haven’t seen the spreads go to 0.6 like they advertise for the standard account on their website though. Lowest seen yet is 1.1 for the standard account.

Execution times are OK

Slippage got nightmarish over the last couple of weeks on pro acc.

Looks like server overcrowded with fast scalping EAs ...

Hi Onu,

Did you contact support about this? Would be interesting to see what they reply with… And if they are inclined at looking into this and resolving it.

Had this same problem on Australian server (strange cause I am in NZ) when trading manually and i threatened to leave.. but once I moved to NY server it was a BIG improvement. Problem is probably the Aus server being for the cfd's and index stuff where as NY seems to be FX only meaning probably a lot faster? I don't know but my account manager said its more for professionals.

From what I've been told and seen the pro feed is white labelled by 2 other brokers. Axi was late to the ny party as i was trading elsewhere with their 'sister' broker beforehand.. NY is getting popular and I can see why!
