To my obsevation 15-20 pips stop loss with 25-40 pips target is good for swing trading and 20 pips stop loss with 60-80 pips target is good for trend trading in EURUSD 5 M timeframe.

Pin bar entries and railway tracks candlestick patterns are the best i have found in this timeframe.

I like to see tight sideways range then straddle with 10pip SL. I'll take re-entries if stopped out. After the sideways action breakouts do well. I use the grid indicator (set at 10pip intervals) to look for the ranging.

Hi could you elaborate on the railway tracks candlestick pattern?

countertrend pinbars or pinbars that are with the trend? I find that pinbars with the trend has quite good yield

Did someone took this failed breakout test after three upward thrusts

No saw it but was too slow, This is a good thread idea, hadn't seen t before

this seems that pair is trading in upward channel and right now consolidating in a vedge. what are your opinins

broke down the wedge to lower sp

i will short once candle closes below the trend line. Right now momentum is up but will be good opportunity to short. Be carefull it is counter trend trade and manage well if fails as planned

short any close below the trend line

see which side market breaks, i will trade that direction

see breakout above the triangle
