for eur/usd now kijun sen is resistance, lets see if it breaks, or the bearish cross from the last days will play out.

Hi baz, thank you for posting, I have had a bit computer problems here.

I think most ranging problems for usd related currency pairs is the usd:

It is caught between this monthly 61.8 fibo level below, and the weekly cloud above. So which way to go ?

Ichimoku says: down, because we have just broken the cloud. This would mean: full retrace down to next 76.4 fibo level. On the other hand, price likes to sureprise traders, so we may break into the cloud to test the uper part of the cloud first. So nobody can say, but from ichimoku point of view:

my favorit trading situations are kumo break out trades, which appears here for eur/cad:

price break through the cloud retested it, and bounced.

I watched on 1 h chart candles and went long

baz, I am not sure, if ichimoku works on lower time frames.

From observation of mine 4 h chart sometimes work, somtimes not

But last month candle for GU is telling us, the power of buyers are dimishing, but what is point of view ichimoku:

On monthly we have taken tenkan sen, but for bulls there is serious next resistance the kijun sen, near the 61.8 fibo level (which coincident).

But weekly: Price has broken inside the cloud, and for bears: might test the lower part of the cloud as solid resistance, its a weekly resistance.

So this will be interisting, if we fall out of the cloud again, or just ranging around here a bit. Maybe you notice that we have broken a weekly trendline too

For daily the kijun sen is support.

If I think a bit about it, there are more arguments for the bulls, then the bears (on higher weekly/monthly timeframes).

eur/usd next, which is very interisting.

I observe next attack at the weekly upper part of the cloud, which is a weekly resistance, so this is a tough nut to crack. I will definetly not enter a trade here.

Notice the upper part of the cloud is flat, this means resistance is more easy to break compared with a cloud which has waves (is not flat).

The daily looks nice bullish, and might close above kijun sen.

But we have on daily a triangel breakout with target 1.4242 (fibo extension 127.2), so this is very very interisting: daily fibonachi against weekly kumo cloud, which will win ?

Eur/lfx:

price has reached 127.2 fibo extension level of the last major bull run, plus 161.8 level of the last triangel break, but look, where 161.8 level of the bull runs is: it is near the upper part of the cloud.

So I`am in general bullish about the euro, but if not running higher then 2.56 retrace gives better entry for long.

lunch time
