Hello,

Do you listen any music while you trade?

I have tried with many different kinds, but I think classical music is the most appropriate to remain discipline focus and calm .

I found the following online recource to be very helpfull.

http://www.forexmusic.com/

I wish I could listen to music when I trade. I must listen to my wife, who`s always wanting something from me
It`s so annoying that I`ll have to go with swing trading.

I love Her to death anyway (who would be able to spend my money so fast?)

I'm not sure who's familiar with them, but I like listening to "Explosions in the Sky" a lot while trading. They do only instrumental work, but I definitely love the movement and strength they carry through in their pieces. It's the kind of stuff you hear during the background of those tear jerking scenes from the great movies. I have my lame moments, I know, but I really enjoy the power in their music. They did the soundtrack for "Friday Night Lights" if anyone is familiar with that movie.

Edit: I forgot my ambient love that is Source Direct.

Blazer,

I know others have said it, but I would like to extend another "Thank You" for sharing the Forex Music Site with us.

I had been setting the TV to one of the cable music channels, but this is much better.

Green Pips to all.

The Russians discovered years ago that people learn much better when listening to baroque music. It's been used extensively in language learning over the years.

Some one mentioned Explosions in the sky. The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
is a great album.

Mostly agree with karmostaji; but lately have been listenig to Choral music from here http://www.choraltreasure.org/ ... kind of celestial. Also a lot of baroque classical, flamenco guitar and solo piano...

... but occasionally revert to Led Zep

If you check the collection you will see that all of the above are included in forexmusic.com and more.

The collection is awsome.

My playlist consist of variety of music from CLassical to pop to alternative to new age instrumental. I just prefer them random.

However, I think i should change it cos, when prior to entering a trade, fast music makes me becomes more reckless. In the other hand, upbeat music makes me more greedy (which is good in some ways) during a winning trade.
