careful shorter, the bigger TF still uptrend...
It's not going down very convincingly. Closed out at 202.00 earlier. Think I might check the range for a while and sell higher up maybe.

Well it hit the 1.9820 area. Shame on me for not staying in......That would have been a nice 500-600 pip range...I closed the first short for 80 pips.....Oh well.. but I did get a few longs and a few short rides inbetween.

If it keeps going down, which it looks like it might....then the next stop is 1.9400 area.

Quoting Billser
I just took a small short. See if it goes back down to 1.9800 area. Should be fun...lol

1.9400 sure came fast.

It looks like as the dollar recovers so too the e/u also goes south with it.

Next stop should be 1.8900 which is also the Daily S2. At the speed this pair is travelling we should be there in.........10 minutes..............

If the dow and dollar keep recovering and E/A breaks 1.8800 area...then I see it heading south to 1.8000 - 1.8200 level which, on the daily chart is the trendline continuation before we had this massive move.

If the dollar and dow mess their pants again then this thing could take off to 2.0500 again.

Well I went back to trading GBP/AUD and gave the EUR/AUD a miss. Probably because I'm in the UK and I don't have much faith in the GBP so I just sell the GBP when it spikes up. I'm not going for the home run - just been taking anything between 50-200 pips depending on the volatility. Last few days have been fab. Making the most of this volatility while it lasts. I find it way easier than trading the GBP/USD that's for sure. I sure hate that major.

instead of long dollar I will be scalping longs in EURAUD on USD strength. Seems to be a decent way to play without having to deal with USD directly.

1.8600 is the level to watch and down to the 1.8530s. It also pays to keep eye on others such as A/J, A/U and G/J.

I think Asia session will be mostly up for AUD then the late sell off, got a short placed around 665 as I don't expect it to move above the consolidation from yesterday (looking at the hourly chart)

Can anyone tell me how is it possible that this pair (or any pair) can move 200 pips in less than 9 minutes for no real reason.....Who is behind these huge insane moves...

Thanks

Billser

Guys if u like volitaile pairs u should look at other pairs like Gbp/Nzd . Gbp/Aud or Gbp/Zar !! , but we should count pip value factor here , example : G/J mini the pip = 100 yen = more than $ , but G/Zar mini the pip = 1 zar = 10 cents
Ps . Today's high/low for the Gbp/Zar is : 15.8126/15.3777 !!
