Disliked{quote} i just did a backtest with same settings and "only" got this result. Is there really such a big difference between 90% and 99% modeling quality? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} The test was made with a start of 400 euro, trading with 0,01 lot. I didn't save the report, the graph speak very well.Ignored
DislikedLooking at the charts, the rational of this strategy seems odd. You are betting on price going away from the long MA. Why not try this: buy when price below slow MA and RSI <x (e.g 5) (close when RSI >y (e.g. 80)) sell when price above slow MA and RSI >a (e.g. 95) (close when RSI <b (e.g. 20)) If you look at the charts, it seems to work... It would require another EA since this one buys when price is above long MA. Just something to think about. I'm sorry if this is off-topic (if someone knows such an EA, please post the link, thx)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Xman, The logic of this strategy is the following: 1) Trade with trend (Slow MA) 2) Locate drawbacks (Price between slow and fast MA) 3) Locate over bought/sold markets with RSIIgnored
DislikedImpressive for a diversified strategy. Would like to test the longest back-test possible. Preferably 30 years. Not sure how to do this yet, but would also, like to test this on as many unrelated currency pairs as possible on the same account at the same time...To diversify.Ignored
